RBWM issues flood and cold weather warnings and advice

Following recent weather and during the current spell of cold weather, the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead has issued advice and warnings to its residents on its official website.

The RBWM site says: ‘Following prolonged heavy rain, a number of flood warnings and alerts remain in place in the borough. Water levels are high on the Thames in Berkshire, which is leading to some flooding in areas near the river and its tributaries, as well as some associated road closures.

‘We continue to monitor this evolving situation and respond accordingly, liaising with the Environment Agency and our other partners. Please take extra care if going out and about in the borough. Stay away from flooded areas and make sure that you have planned a safe route home.’
